Frome Churches: St. John's Church - Bath Street, Frome, Somerset, England
St. John the Baptist Church was was originally founded by St. Aldhelm as the town's Parish Church and is situated in Frome's town centre, part way up Bath Street. This important parish church has a number of unusual and interesting features, including a large stone archway in front of the church, steps leading to a holy well that are over 700 years old, and an underground room with no windows, which was once Frome's jail. Other attractions include four chantry chapels, two porches, a square tower with a octagonal beautiful spire, relief sculptures, carved oak stalls and a stone screen. Frome's St. John's Church was recently undergone much renovation.




Frome Churches: Holy Trinity Church - Trinity Street, Frome, Somerset, England
The Holy Trinity Church is situated in the historic Trinity area of Frome, at the top of Welsh Mill Hill. Built in 1838, this church is an early Victorian grade 2 listed building and is about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Frome.

This important community Frome church is open daily and is situated close to the Lamb and Fountain, which is a public house that is more than 300 years old and has recently featured in a series of underground excavations, investigating the hidden tunnels of Frome.




Frome Churches: Christ Church - Christchurch Street West, Frome, Somerset, England
Frome's Christ Church is a beautiful building that dates back to 1818. Situated on Christchurch Street West, close to Catherine Hill and between Weymouth Road and Park Road, Christ Church is a short walk from Frome's town centre. Attractions at Christ Church include beautiful architecture, stained-glass windows, a large pipe organ and huge trees in the cemetery.

Christ Church also holds a number of concerts throughout the year, particularly during the Frome Festival.
